Queensland Chief Entrepreneur

Julia Spicer is Queensland’s Chief Entrepreneur – the flag-bearer for innovation and entrepreneurship in Queensland. As the Chief Entrepreneur, Julia works with regional communities across Queensland on a range of projects focused on identifying needs in business and implementing creative solutions to address them.

Julia also continues to run her own consulting business, Engage and Create Consulting, and a local co-working space, the Goondiwindi Business Hub. Julia sits on other not-for-profit boards including Motherland Australia and has been a part of the Innovation Advisory Council as the regional representative. Julia is also a skilled facilitator, passionate speaker and an experienced MC.

Julia’s career began in environmental science working in landcare, natural resource management and land management roles in the Queensland Murray-Darling Basin region.

The Peter Cullen Trust “Lunch with a Leader” is a small gathering with interesting, friendly and lively discussion led by some of Australia’s most informed people in the water and natural resources sector, while enjoying a pleasant lunch.
